Call parking is a feature of the Exodec system that allows a person to put a call on hold at one telephone set and continue the conversation from any other telephone.

Methods

  • #2 – Park call. If you wish to park a call, while in the call press #2. The caller will be placed on hold and the system will tell you which parking lot the call is parked in.
  • *221 – Unpark the first call.
  • *225 – If there are multiple parked calls and you wish to interrogate the parking lot, dial *225. The system will tell you the caller ID and parking spot of each call parked in the parking lot.
  • *225x – Unpark a specific call where x is the parking spot of a particular caller that you wish to pick up.
  • *229 – Unpark last call found in the parking lot.

Uses

  • Call Parking can be used when it is necessary to move to a different telephone during a phone call
